Boehner cries to Obama: 'Wa-Wa, you've been ignoring our jobs agenda!'
(hmm, Obama's travels lambasting the GOP must have struck a nerve):

So John Boehner is accusing President Obama of ignoring the GOP's jobs agenda. Seriously.
This afternoon, President Obama called Speaker Boehner to congratulate him on passing the three free trade agreements. After they discussed trade, the Speaker brought up the President’s remarks today about “not having yet seen” a GOP plan for job creation, and respectfully challenged the President’s assertion. “I want to make sure you have all the facts,” the Speaker told the President. The Speaker reminded the President that House Republicans put forth a ‘Plan for America’s Job Creators’ in May, and noted that he and other members of the GOP leadership team have spoken with the President and his staff about the plan and referenced it on numerous occasions, in letters and elsewhere.

Yeah, I know that Republicans put out a piece of paper labeled a "Plan for America's Job Creators," but that doesn't mean Republicans actually have a plan for creating jobs now. I don't even think they believe it's possible to create jobs now. After all, aren't they the guys who always say government can't create jobs? So the fact is that despite Boehner's whining, they really don't have anything to ignore.

But the key thing here, as Josh Marshall points out, is that the politics of the moment have shifted to the point where even Republicans aren't interested in talking about the deficit or debt anymore. Now they want to talk about how they are really the party fighting for job creation.

2. Dear Lord, please say that picture is a Photoshop.
Is he really blubbering while merely sitting in the Speaker's chair? Not even giving a speech about his hardscrabble upbringing?
