Pat Robertson: Obama is ‘inciting people to revolt’ (video)
Can't Pat just go back to healing people through over the television if they only
send him in $500.00 to do the work of Jesus?

http://www.rawstory.com/rs/2011/10/18/pat-robertson-obama-is-inciting-people-to-revolt/

On Monday morning’s broadcast of The 700 Club, Robertson blamed President Barack Obama for being the mastermind behind Occupy Wall Street.

“Well the match to the kindling is being provided by our noble president,” the televangelist said. “He is inciting people to revolt.” Robertson failed
to cite any specific evidence linking Obama to being behind the demonstrations.

9. I wish Obama was inciting the revolt
I wish he was out there leading it. Unfortunately, he will never do that because he is very much a moderate. He is not the type to "incite" anything it seems.

15. He can't, and he doesn't need to.
People revolt when things are revolting. Things got revolting before January 2009, people are just reacting to it now. If the conservatives had allowed Obama to do the minimum needed, things would be just normal enough that no revolt would occur.

In the past, the people inspired enough caution among elected officials that even in divided government the necessary bits would still be done. Republicans decided that dysfunction and revolt would work to their favor, because we would all join their tea party, and the greater the dysfunction, the faster it would grow. What these amatuer social engineers did not get is that it is always easier to create revolt, anger, and dismay than it is to control the outcome when it is let loose.

Previous generations of politicians, at least since the great depression, have gotten the notion that you toy with public anger rarely and with great jeopardy. Accordingly, they have paid our debts, extended unemployment insurance, and created wars on poverty and jobs programs when needed to keep civil order and a modest sense of social justice alive. Once this vision is lost, and it appears increasingly that it has been lost, all bets are off.

With luck, the people will go off in a fortunate direction and there will be very few republican office holders left behind.
