3. Well
I gues MSNBC wants Ed to go up aginst Keith On Current. And went Lawrence away from Keith on Countdown.

I have been watching Keith on Current as my cable News and I feel great. No more having Republicans on consetly and pumping out Republican talking points.

9. Yeah, This Could Be The Biggest Reason! I Usually Watch Keith On Current Later.
But, I think you might have hit onto something. Still, I don't know if Ed will be able one up Keith. Keith has been one of the BEST MSNBC ever had, IMO. So I DO watch him for sure! Why Tweety has to have TWO shows doesn't make sense to me. Perhaps it's the time difference on the west coast, and Tweety DOES have some pull... I'm thinking.

4. I had heard that O'Donnell's show initially started with a drop of about 20% viership
after Keith left and he hasn't been able to improve them much.

I don't know what ratings Ed's show got, but he did well at the old 6PM slot. Guess Ed will miss his 3-day weekend now that he's moving back to Prime Time.

5. GOOD! I Know Some Here Have Expressed Negative Things About Schultz... BUT
for me, I like it better! One other thing. Sharpton knows his issues and does try to hold people's feet to the fire, but I simply CAN NOT stand his voice. I know I've expressed this here before, and believe you me, I have tried over and over to listen to a WHOLE program of his, but more often than not have to shut it down.

He's on when I'm usually making dinner so during that time I listen rather than watch. It makes me sad as I do feel he has something to add, but the pitch of his voice, PLUS how he raises it when he banters back & forth are just too much for me to take.

And yes, IT IS just a personal opinion. Thought I would add that before I get attacked.

8. your not used to hearing a black voice on MSNBC
I think Al is one of the best host on MSNBC but of coarse I'm African American so I can relate to what he's talking about.

12. NOOOOOOOOO Problem Relating To African Americans... You Have NO Idea
brother! I said I can't take the "pitch" of his voice, not HOW he pronounces words. I'm just going to say it because I feel I need to. I listen to many African Americans on BET & Melissa Harris Perry NEVER bothered me one bit. Sorry, but I think you completely misunderstood what I was saying.

Geeeezzz, I just said he covers the issues well and has a lot to offer, I just have a problem with HIS voice! Obama's voice doesn't bother me and many people in Congress who are African Americans have voices too, and THEY don't bother me... its HIS voice.

Don't mean to make you mad, it's a PERSONAL OPINION!

7. That's the big news?!?!!
Sheesh. I thought it was going to be something about the politically-involved churches having their tax-exempt status revoked, or Mitt Romney's love child with Jane Fonda, or something like that.

This isn't even remotely big news. He should get over himself.

11. I'm not sure how this will affect other viewers, but they'll probably lose me
I really enjoy Lawrence O'Donnell but am not crazy about Ed Schultz. I'll likely switch over to something else at 8 p.m. and, more often than not, won't switch back at 9.

I'm very disappointed.

13. Well I can handle Ed's screaming at 8 better than at 10, but
more likely we will watch more of Keith instead and then watch Lawrence at 10.

move Morning Joe to 1am EST, or just cancel it all together and put Chris Hayes on its place. Or better yet, rehire David Schuster to replace Morning Ho. And leave the evening line up alone!

MSNBC is starting to get on my nerves with all their drama and bullshit.

22. Am with you on that, as well.
Do you ever watch Martin Bashir at 3PM. He's smart and does not hesitate to call out Republicans' bullsh*t.

17. I like ED
He really fights for labor and the working class. His coverage of Wisconsin was phenomenal. Although, I don't watch his shows live. I usually watch you tube clips when people on DU link to the videos.

18. When is this change taking place, pretty pliz? Thanks!!!!
I start watching Martin Bashir and don't turn off the tv until I fall asleep after 12 midnight or later, so after Dylan,at about 5, I turn it off just for an hour, go on with my kitchen shores, and then at 6 I sit down, have dinner and watch Rev Sharpton, then i continue with Hardball, and all that comes after, I do like Ed very much, I do not get Current on my cable company and I do miss Keith but anyway, that's it!
