My White House petition on Bernie Sanders Social Security bill got enough sigs for WH response

My petition asking Obama to support Bernie Sanders bill to fix Social Security got the 5,000 signature the White House said it needed before they would respond to it.

To my English instructor friends, I am profoundly embarrassed by my typos in the petition. I wrote it when I was half asleep and didn't expect anyone to see it. I hope they figure out I meant Sen. Sanders, not Col. Sanders.

3. sometimes the best thing you can do is proof your writing

I always print out anything important and proof it at least twice. It really sucks to put down your thoughts and see later you made a typo or grammatical error or just a sentence that wasn't really clear. Like my Dad, the man who could do almost everything well, told me. Measure twice, cut once.

5. the typo wasn't ''Col. Sanders'' but as bad

I left a couple of words out in key places.

I don't worry about proofreading as much with online things as much as print letters and such, and now it's bit me on the ass.
