1. No.
Most Americans neither understand nor follow world news enough to impact opinion polling. ;-)

7. I hope so..........

8. Possibly
but not much or for very long. Less of a bump than Osama. A good jobs report would do far more.

9. Yes. And this also kills the GOP argument that "Dems are soft"
The GOP won't be able to effectively leverage that nonsense for a while.

10. No, because. . .
. . .for the following reasons:
-unlike the Bin Laden death, this was not a direct US action

-Because this was not a direct action its easier for Republicans not give Obama credit

-Many Democrats/Progressives/Liberals and others on the left were never fans of military action in Libya.

-I'm not sure if Kaddafi was ever viewed as direct threat to US national security they way bin laden was

12. Maybe for a few days.
Qaddafi (sp?) was not a threat to Americans, and he was killed by his own people, not by U.S. armed forces. So I don't see why it should affect Obama's approval rating one way or the other. I would guess at least half of Americans have at best only a vague idea of who Qaddafi was, or where Libya is.

14. If it does, it will only be temporary
The unemployment rate is a millstone hung around his reelection efforts.
