2. I agree. It's increasingly evident that Obama is going to be going strong into next year...
They might well decide to simply "phone it in," doing a version of what they did with Alan Keyes 8 years ago.

5. Why can't they use Perry as a throwaway candidate?
They have to know he will never win.

Or even Mitt Romeny since they absolutely don't want him getting anywhere near the WH.

in just two weeks the appeal of his 999 has become "999 plus conditions" and it's all downhill from here.
