I find this forum interesting and informative. However, I did not understand parts of this post of yours (meaning Skinner):

Was there more to the deleted posts than just the subject line, or is "LOL" considered a personal insult? Standing alone, it seems more like a comment on the content of a post than a personal comment on a poster. Same for "I shake my head in disbelief."

If there was more to the deleted posts than just a the subject line, just saying that would be enough of an answer for me. Otherwise, I'd love a line or two of explanation.

I ask bc I have posted "LOL" myself and, while I do not claim 100% success, I do try to (a) obey rules; and (b) avoid personal comments (unless I am replying to a personal comment someone has made to me and temptation bests me).
