I asked a question a week or so ago about a thread in GD that was left there even though it seemed an inappropriate topic for that forum. You agreed and moved it. Now, again, the thread below is, in my opinion, more appropriate for the atheist or R/T forum. It seems to have been begun for the sole purpose ot criticizing Christians. I have alerted twice.

And the posts which compare a teen-aged high school young woman to a terrorist (most explicitly in post #5) are beyond the pale for GD...actually for DU, IMO.

As in last week's post, I apologize if I sound grumpy, but sometimes the frequent bashing of people of faith, on a progressive site, can get on my nerves.

Have you any idea why this OP was kept in GD rather than going to a more appropriate place? Am I wrong in my assessment?

1. It appears to be a link to a story about a current event which has constitutional significance.

That is the type of thing members should be permitted to discuss in the GD forum.

The threads we do not want in the GD forum are those which are purely theological in nature (ie: is there a god?).
