It'll be something that I'll truly enjoy, if I ever live long enough to see it.

As a caveat, I discount our moon landing in lieu of an actual planet mission, like to Mars or Pandora (Wherever it may be).

But at the moment, I'm pretty cool with our first Black President squaring away some unfinished business that was left over from that previous gang of criminal yahoos.

It may not be as great as watching Marstronauts do the Crip Walk in the shadow of Olympus Mons, but I'm still diggin' the most recent events quite well.

5. Well, the moon kind of is another planet...
...it's just one that orbits the Earth rather than being in its own independent orbit about the sun. The moon, the four big moons of Jupiter, Saturn and Neptune's big moons are all big enough to be planets, but they are orbiting planets that are in turn orbiting the sun.

10. An accomplishment but far from the greatest. The greatest would be achieving
peace and finding non polluting sources of energy.

19. The greatest would be to make sure everyone has adequate nutrtion and a decent place to live.
The tragedy is that is totally reachable, but not considered sexy enough.

17. Truth be told, I've been a humbucker guy for decades...
Edited on Thu May-05-11 12:41 PM by Iggo
...but I finally plugged a real Strat into a real amp at the local GC and let it wail and I gotta say...now I get it.

:headbang:

(EDIT: Hum doesn't always need to be bucked, is what I'm trying to say.)
