Bwah-HAH what I learned about BREITBART on Book Notes (warning graphic hot tub pic)
Edited on Sat May-07-11 10:41 PM by UTUSN
Why?!1 Why does his mind work this way, conceiving that anybody much wants to see him in a hot tub:

Plus, in my doing a Search for the hot tub pic, his websites flooded the results with tons of "hot tub" news articles, strangers in the hot tub, etc.

The first thing I learned from Armstrong WILLIAMS' purportedly "interviewing" him is that WILLIAMS sucks as an interviewer: He claimed to have given the book a profound reading, then skipped helter skelter from one anecdote in it to another, getting the details wrong and misremembered, and most of all would interrupt the interviewee in one anecdote to push into another anecdote from a different time period and would cut off each anecdote at each climax.

About BREITBART, according to him:

* He founded/co-founded Ariana's HuffPo and doesn't care that she got hundreds of millions while nobody is trying to buy all of his websites. Huzzah!1

* He met Matt PUDGE when that dirt bag was folding t-shirts at the CBS gift store and spent four hours with him r trying on t-shirts or something, and departed with the revelation that this t-shirt dude who was actually a SUPERVISOR besides being a t-shirt folder was the future!1

* He doesn't have Ariana's fortune, has a mortage and two car payments!1

* His father cut him off out of his cash support, but does not connect this to anything like these admissions: That he was doing poorly in school, was looked down upon by his hoity toity friends who were elites, had to talk his teachers into curving his grades up because he had not read the books, and he had two or three "mentors" who were all just BRILLIANT but who flunked out of college and were being "alternative" with their drugs. He leaves out what he had in common with these dropout druggies.

* He majored in American Studies and none of it made any sense because he was being fed Liberal talking points, not anything original or penetrating, for example: Being fed that notorious talking point, unoriginal regurgitator, Noam CHOMSKY.

* One of those later "mentors" insisted on "taking him for a walk" instead of "sitting on the couch" to impart to him his destiny, that the mentor told him he had discovered something that "worked the way my brain works, THE INTERNET." Armstrong didn't follow up to ask how DOES his mind work?!1

* He was diagnosed with "adult ADD" and he didn't like RITALIN, ewww, it gave him the shiver/creeps!1

* The TeaBagger ( :my label) Party was "founded by WOMEN and BLACKS," and as an afterthought, also by HISPANICS!1

* His face on the book cover looks like a death mask.

Lots of things I would have asked, were not asked by Armstrong, such as, how did he end up marrying the daughter of Orson BEAN, whom, decades ago might have been the stereotype among Bircher types of Eastern Lib Elites, although maybe Orson was a closet Wingnut all along. And, what exactly did BREIBART do while spending all that time with all his druggie and alternative mentors. Were hot tubs (there's a pic of BREITBART in one) and Sunday champagne brunches involved at all?
