9. Would you be ok with hardcore porn, or the Faces of Death series, playing?
FOX is nearly, as, or more repulsive.

8. The only way they could stimulate obesity more is if they shot the fat into customers with a gun.

11. The Mcd's in Menominee Falls Wi
has had tvs tuned to Fox for years. ALL the tvs. The Falls is in a heavily republican area so it is not surprising. I asked one of the asst mgrs about this once and I was told that the owner wanted the tvs tuned to Fox and I would have to speak to him. Strangely, the place is often inhabited by senior citizens with their eyes glued to the tv absorbing every word. Also, the staff there can't seem to ever get my order right - I wonder if the sound of Fox in their ears is interfering with mental processing. I know I always leave there feeling stupider than when I went in.

19. My wife worked at the McD's in the Falls over 30 years ago!
No TVs back then, but still a conservative area (Sensenbrenner's district).

14. I saw MSNBC on at a McD's in Socal
Another one used to have Fox, briefly, before it switched to CNN all the time.

This seems to be a franchisee, not a corporate, decision.

15. If the programming is anything like the 7-11 franchises...
If the programming is anything like the way the 7-11 franchises have recently done it, it would be wholly in-company programming/advertising designed to look like network television.

(Nothing I like more than 'teh loud' being broadcast at 5:45am when I'm getting my first cuppa joe of the day. Yikes!)

21. mcd's is pretty good at focusing on the customer. i cannot imagine they would be willing to turn so
many customers off with such a partisan network. and they are not stupid either.
