2. Yeah, where are you?
We had temps that climbed as high as 100F here in Iowa. Really muggy July/August stuff. Winds are like siroccos. Projected temp at midnight is 77F. Talk of perhaps thunderstorms by morning. Last week we had several nights of hard freezes and daytime highs of 40s and 50s.

5. 20 degrees since 3! wow!
I am originally from KCMO and yesterday I spoke to my mom and she said it had been really hot and humid. I just went to kctv5, looks like storms are expected. My dad is in Raymore where it can get a little spooky weather wise.

I have to admit, I do miss the excitement of storms, air raid sirens, the basement and the transistor radio, the reminders of whether to open the windows or shut them. That doesn't happen as much in the city anymore I'm told. Something about the buildings and the tempurature changes due to concrete and other materials.

Stay safe!!! Glad you posted this.

8. We're looking to get rocked in OKC tomorrow.
I'm hoping the storms arrive after my mother-in-law arrives and well before my mom arrives at 11pm.

10. Us where?
You don't show your location in your profile, so it's pretty hard to interpret your post.
