I refuse to call them anything else. This was the name they chose for themselves. If they want the distinction of political party status, they need to take the steps that makes them a formal party and then choose a name they prefer. Until then they are the Teabagger Faction and should not be referred to as anything else.

It really differentiates them from the days when there were actual thinking moderates and even progressive players in the Party. Today's Republican Party is the John Birch Society fringe of 40 years ago.
