Harold Camping: Judgment Day Did Actually Happen Saturday
It was just invisible.

After a few days of silence — as thousands reveled in the fact that they hadn't been Raptured on Saturday — Judgment Day-calculator Harold Camping figured out a way to spin his (second!) failed prediction: it actually did happen, you just didn't see it. The 89-year-old Christian radio station owner explained on Monday night, during a Family Radio station broadcast, that rather than a physical Rapture taking place, the judgment was spiritual. But don't worry; the real end of the world is still ahead.

2. I know that thought.

It is why so many people seem to be empty shells, the part left behind, 2 people in one person, and the part left behind is all you see in them.

I have heard that doctrine before.

It is that the two people in the field, is your spirit side, and your other side, and whatever side you are in tuned with you go with, or stay with.

That is one of the sub sets of seeing people as empty shells.

That is however also an empathy breaking delusion, so be careful with that doctrine.

3. Isn't it just easier to say, "I was wrong"?
On the other hand, seeing photos of Mr. Camping, it's not all that surprising that he's clutching for the ego gratification that all of history is coming to its climax just for him and those like him. It's an alluring little idea, that you (and only you) are in the cosmic know, and that all these troubles aren't meant to be solved, but are mere window dressing for the end of all things. You can discharge your obligations by warning other people, but that's it. People can be homeless and starving, but that's not really your problem. God's gonna wash it all clean, and all you have to do is tell other people to be ready. The heavy lifting of fashioning a more just society that works for more people isn't your concern.

4. How could he possibly say that?
I think this is the only route he could take at this point.

5. He'll be wrong again
He's moved the date to October 21. That's a Friday. Silly, everybody knows that God only does conjuring tricks on a Saturday.

9. That was my thought too. A lot less true Christians ascended
that he thought---and he and his followers were not among them. If he read the Bible that he has in his hands all the time, he would know that.

12. He was saying October 21st all along...
The rapture was to happen on May 21st, and then it would be the apocalypse until October 21st, when gawd would end the world. I shouldn't know so much about it honestly, but as a psychologist, I am thoroughly intrigued by people like this and do a lot of research... lol.

13. So the "spiritually raptured" are now like zombies?
Soul-less, walking around in bodies?

How completely opposite of what the rapture was supposed to be, lol.
