for a regional broadcast involving severe weather?

9. I think they have. I remember them covering the weather quite a bit from back when I watched that ch
They just don't seem to do it on any kind of schedule. They were sending it over to weather channel peeps a lot.
Needless to say, if Sarah Palin or Rush L issued a statement earlier in the day, they aren't going to be cutting away from discussion and analysis of those statements.

5. I don't know but I see it this way
Really MSNBC is a political news channel, thats what they deal with most and if you have MSNBC you probably have the Weather channel and if you have the weather channel your probably watching that for weather. That being said, if you don't have cable and your in the area effected by these storms, your local stations are probably covering it.

7. Well, Katrina was regional. In fact, lots of hurricanes are
covered nationally.

15. They are mentioned nationally but they are seldom covered much of
the day. I understand that they have had them on MSNBC for hours. Where I lived as a child in NW Iowa we had tornado warning almost every night in the summer. How much of this are they going to do?

14. I do not know but this has been a very different program. It reminds
me of listening to the local radio station when there was a tornado warning in our area. But I have never seen MSM chase tornadoes the way they did tonight. I am sorry for the people who were hit but there are thousands of tornado warnings across the country almost every day during the summer. They cannot cover them all like that or they will not have any time for other news.
