The Ryan Budget - The Gift That Keeps on Giving

OK, so the Republicans made a mistake, big deal. Speaker Boehner's not that long in the job, so it's to be expected.

But get this - the Republicans are digging in! This is the stupidest thing they could be doing. Instead of backing away from the Ryan budget, they're getting into a snit over it. It's their worst possible option, and a completely undeserved gift to Democrats.

There is nothing good about the Ryan budget; it is simply a catastrophe. When Republicans who voted for it are asked about it, they should pretend not to hear the question. Instead they're going at this as though it's some kind of moral crusade.

This is such good news for Democrats. It's the gift that keeps on giving. The Republicans' losses will accumulate until even the really stupid ones recognize what a catastrophe they've embraced. I haven't been so pleased since Scooter Libby was convicted.

We have a whole year before 2012. Having observed
Republicans over the years, this whole year gives
them lots of time. Did everyone see Paul Ryan
out doing damage control on all the Networks this
AM. The Republicans are not going down without a
fight.

Ryan knows he has to stand and fight and the only
way he can possibly win is on National TV. He did
not let 24 hours go by before he fought back.

What I am really saying is Democrats cannot rest.
