Like I always say, I can only take so much bullshit at any given time.
CNN had a special on just now called "Restoring the American Dream"…

These people that they interviewed were hellbent on making money WITHOUT putting Americans to work and raising their wages to a livable level.

Businesses making money without support for workers, as if it's a normal thing.

God forbid we have Democratic-Socialist solutions, as they have in Europe, that strengthens the social safety net and organized labor. It's just too fucking hard to raise the standard of living for ordinary people instead of just the top tier.

They keep going to the crooks, like Jack Welch, on a follow up show for "answers".

It's people like Welch who are responsible for turning America into an empty husk.

What a fucking crock.

1. yup
or like the health care debate. all this casting about, even from the President, as if to say, "wow, this is so complicated, how do we do this?", as if no other country in the world had solved the problem. but other countries have solved the problem. other countries have figured out the safety-net thing. other countries have figured out how to provide high paying jobs and those social democratic safety nets.

it has been done and not by folks like Jack Welch.

you go to Jack Welch ONLY if you want to know how to fire people, buy other companies or win a government contract for some massive weapon that we usually drop on children (accidentally).

3. The next program in the service is about education as a solution for this problem
Education is a great idea… However, I bet that interviewing a bunch of people who would advocate converting higher education from a privilege to a RIGHT will never even occur to them.

I have a feeling that the "Privatizers" are going to be featured prominently.

More bullshit indeed.

4. I've stayed away from these so-called "news" networks since the Bush
sham in 2000. Haven't gone back since. I only watch MSNBC.

5. The USA has no functioning native news outlets. Hasn't had any for a generation.
I know many will disagree.
