I have been watching some subtle and believe me not so subtle attacks on all things Democratic Party
I know part and parcel of it has to do with Cong. Wiener.

Cong. Wiener is a Democrat, part of the party..and I know some of this party politics is pretty uncomfortable for people.

The voters in his district will make the final judgement if he runs again. But he did this to himself..knowing that the hounds of hell were on his heels for a month, he continued to do this.

Do not expect the party to commit suicide on behalf of Cong. Wiener for this very reason.

I have not called for his resignation, and I am not going to. That is in the final analysis up to New York.

But I am not going to make excuses for him either, because the other side behaved badly and got away with it.

I have also picked up on an attack once again on the term liberal.

Self described liberals had to endure a blistering attack on our self identity in the late 80's and 90's..it moved a number to re brand themselves, because they could not get past the term "liberal" and all the garbage that was piled on it by the right wing talking machines.

So I would kindly request we do not start this up again.

2. not so subtle attacks on all things Democratic Party
I may be wrong but I suspect that is going to come to an abrupt end here real soon.

Santa is making a list and checking it twice.

4. It can't happen soon enough to suit me
My current non-donor status is directly related to complacency where attacks on the Democratic party is concerned.

3. Those Liberals did not fight back and we are where we are today.
Attacks on Liberal and Liberalism have never stopped

Long before Weiner was a problem, the Rights Nosise
Machine has been fighting Liberalism and Liberals.

They want to put a stake in the heart of Liberalism
Conservatism reigns.

Do not blame Weiner. Liberals and Liberalism is
the target and has been. They call every Democrat
a Liberal. There is a method to their madness.
They want a 50 year reign for Conservatism.

Before Weiner and after Weiner. Liberals are the
target. Only to Republicans any Democrat is Liberal.

6. It isn't just us liberals...it is the whole idea of the word that is under attack.
We live in a time where 'fuck you I got mine' is approved by the mainstream as the correct behavior and giving away time, food and money is considered illegal activity (see 'feeding the homeless'). If the word is destroyed, then might as well do away with words like 'compassion' and 'sympathy'. They will be next.

As far as Wiener goes...YOUR LAST NAME IS WIENER...and you did what again?

Nuff' said.

7. I hear that.. community organizer, instead of being recognized as a good thing
to help people in a community.. suddenly community organizer..the term is attacked, and people who work with people in need. Community organizers promoting the needs of those who have less are viewed as naive and not worthy of leadership roles

But lay people off.. (that is all Romney did as the big old Business Person..find a way to get rid of employees) you are hailed as an all knowing economic genius
