He'd get rid of worst persons and do a more comprehensive piece on just one political person, what they did/do wrong, and how it affects voters.

I'd like for him to get rid of the fluff section too. If I want that, I'll find something like Entertainment tonight. He could put, in place of that an Expert's Corner, where they actually bring on a Scientist, a Professor, or an Expert in a field, and talk comprehensively about pollution, labor and unions, Economics, fleshing out some details many of us might want to know about.

It's been a general problem with me for MSNBC, certainly left of FOX, but rarely bringing on actual experts in areas, with true knowledge, rather preferring journalist commentators, who generally repeat the party line.

And hell, while we're at it, lets see if we can get Chomsky, or Hightower, or Michael Klare (Klair?), or some anti-war folks, some anti-death penalty folks, some anti drug war people. Let's get LI-ber-al, Li-ber-al, come on and get, Li-ber-aaaal,...lemme hear your libbie talk, etc...

I tuned in a little late but the 40 minutes I saw was great. I think MSNBC should realign their schedule and move Lawrence O'donnell to a different time. Perhaps they could re-run Tweety's shown in the 8 EST time slot rather than having him go head to head with Keith. I enjoy LO's show and hope it survives in another time slot. Maddow, O'Donell and Keith all do a great job in my opinion. If Current is successful with Keith's show maybe they can recruit Rachel and Lawrence away from MSNBC.

61. I've Been Penalizing MSNBC

For getting rid of Keith, by not watching Lawrence. Been laying of for a month or two on Tweety, as I just find him insufferable, as he seems to enjoy the most bullshit part of politics a little too much. And Ed really bugged me too, with the whole Weiner coverage, acting like he had no choice.

As Doris Kearns Goodwin tried to point out on MTP this weekend, the media's behavior in choosing to cover Weiner's weiner so much, was shameful. Of course Gregory and Chuck-e-Todd tried to talk over her to drown out anyone actually holding them to task for the choice of constant weiner-roasting.

Comcast in Philadelphia requires the purchase of a special package to get Current TV, in spite of the fact that the channel was set up to be offered with Basic. We have the Digital package, not Basic Cable, but it still doesn't offer Current.
