The bill strip middle-class workers of their right to collectively bargain for health care benefits, while taking away promised pension benefits from active and retired public employees. It doubles what most teachers, firefighters and police officers must pay toward their health benefits — and, in many cases, triples those costs.

It would also shift the retirement age from 60 to 65 for people entering the workforce. It would eliminate cost-of-living increases that help workers offset inflation and property tax hikes.

The Republicans win another major victory against Unions with the help of spineless fucking Dems.

1. This is the kind of thing that makes me wonder
how the hell voting for Democrats in national office makes any difference in our lives -- none of them seem to have our backs.

4. I already know Van Drew voted for it in the Senate.
Trying to verify that Albano and Milam voted for it, and see if Celeste Riley also voted for it.

5. spineless? Or do they answer to the conservative voters in their districts?
The same voters who elected 32 other conservatives and a Republican Governor to boot.
