If you're beyond redemption, piling on more sins doesn't affect your eternal damnation, so what the heck? Besides, they will simply lie in the coming months, the lie will be skeptically received, then accepted without comment, then morph into the truth, and be used as a cudgel against the dirty fucking hippies. It'll be great fun!

who passed it in the first place? Who is going to take the hits from passing that awful piece of legislation?

Not the Republicans.

And who forced our Democratic supermajority to make this law? Nobody. This is an entirely self-inflicted wound and should be the poster child for demonstrating why 2000-page bills are bad for everyone.
