White House hammers GOP stalling on START
The White House is calling a GOP senator’s stalling tactic to delay a vote on a strategic arms treaty with Russia “a new low” and a “political stunt” that jeopardizes national security.

White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs blasted Sen. Jim DeMint, R-S.C., for halting consideration of the START treaty by forcing a reading of the bill on the Senate floor, a procedural trick that would take up hours of time precious to Democrats who are eager to accomplish their remaining legislative goals before the end of the year.

In a press release, Gibbs called the tactic “exactly the kind of Washington game-playing that the American people are sick of.”
On the Senate floor this morning, Majority Leader Harry Reid called DeMint's action "a colossal waste of time."

1. They should get a few speed readers
Maybe Pres. Obama could offer a compromise like giving the wealthiest 1% of Americans 300 billion in new tax breaks in return for passing START!

5. I agree.
Put a stop to this crap and MAKE them stay through the holidays. No more breaks until things get done. This is all about "playground" antics, and shows just how childish these morons are! Democrats need to stop playing the game and start getting tough! Make them stay through the holidays, and next year if they still want to play the games, democrats are still in charge of the senate, then make them stay on weekends, holidays, whatever it takes to make them start acting like adults!

6. Why those dirty dogs!

I don't think anybody could have foreseen that, after handing the Republicans everything they asked for and more, the Republicans wouldn't turn all bipartisany and agree to join hands and sing a round of Kum Ba Yah. Unless the Republicans got the idea from the dirty fucking hippies, who said this would happen! It's the hippies' fault!

10. The Republicans have a pre-911 mentality.
Just another reasons as to why they are the "danger within".
