The UK and America can hunt his ass down if he runs off...if the WSJ goes under it will be a great blow to corporatism!

17. Not peanuts, they are the Wall Street Bible!
The guy that just resigned was also the head of the Dow Jones...which gets to decide if America has junk stocks or not. These are some big waves being made, bigger then anything in the last 10 years.

I want Foxnex too...I hope they are all pink slipped ASAP. That wretched excuse for a news organization did its job in 2000 - it turned an election toward their chosen candidate GWB.

May they forever rot in hell.

Their legal team has no leader right now, Brooks resigned, now one of the senior most executives quit. I'd LOVE to be a fly on the wall in the meetings with the senior executives. With him quitting, that's a major sign that the shit is hitting the fan in a big way.

18. Yeah, I think they have definitely
bitten off more than they can chew. They have the attention of the Rockefellers, even a Republican Congressman and 3 Senators, not to mention the Queen, the royal family, and quite a number of the Parliament pissed off (and their security possibly compromised).

That's treason if they are citizens of the UK and espionage if not no matter how you slice it.

45. Indeed and apparently he was doing anything
to make money and pull strings. I think Murdoch assumed that they all thought and operated the way he does - money and power trump everything.
What I'm enjoying most is that it's blowing up in his face before he croaks or is incapacitated too badly to understand that all his crooked ways took him full circle to utter and complete humiliation.
I hope his son goes to prison with the rest of his goons. I hope Ailes is destroyed and the Fox has to go hide in the hen house. :D

49. what Les Hinton told the Commons culture select committee
http://www.guardian.co.uk/media/2009/jul/09/les-hinton-culture-select-committee
<snip>
Les Hinton, then News International executive chairman, gave evidence to the Commons culture select committee on 6 March 2007 about the jailing of the News of the World reporter Clive Goodman for phone hacking. He was questioned by committee chairman John Whittingdale.

JW "Can you tell us what investigations you carried out to determine whether or not anybody else was aware of what Clive Goodman was doing?"

LH "First of all the police obviously carried out pretty thorough investigations, and the result of their investigation was the charge against Clive and against the private detective. Clive went to prison; the News of the World paid a substantial amount to charities nominated by Prince Harry, Prince William and the editor , who told me he had no knowledge of this activity but felt that, since it had happened on his watch, he should take his share of the responsibility, and he resigned <…> I believe absolutely that Andy did not have knowledge of what was going on <...>"

JW "You carried out a full, rigorous internal inquiry, and you are absolutely convinced that Clive Goodman was the only person who knew what was going on?"

LH "Yes, we have and I believe he was the only person, but that investigation, under the new editor, continues."

56. Fox has been mostly ignoring this
and anecdotal, one of the old ladies today was complaining that the lib'rul media wanted to bring it down. (The only time they have mentioned it, it is off the wall you know)

So I took her through the scandal... and asked her if she was ok with them hacking into phones of murdered Teens, dead soldiers and 9.11 victims? I have never seen a fan of Fox shut up that fast. 9.11 will be what will bring them down, in the US, IMHO.
