FoxNews: DHS Memo Suggests Shooter May Be Linked To Racist Organization
DHS Memo Suggests Shooter May Be Linked To Racist Organization

According to a memo obtained by Fox News with information compiled by the Department of Homeland Security and released to state law enforcement officials, Jared Loughner, the alleged shooter of Congressman Gabrielle Giffords, may have been influenced by a pro-white racist organization that publishes an anti-immigration newsletter.

No direct connection, but strong suspicion is being direceted at American Renaissance, an organization that Loughner mentioned in some of his internet postings and federal law enforcement officials are investigating Loughner's possible links to the organization. The organization is a monthly publication that promotes a variety of white racial positions.

"The group's ideology is anti government, anti immigration, anti ZOG (Zionist Occupational Government), anti Semitic," according to the memo which goes on to point out that Congressman Giffords is the first Jewish female elected to high office in Arizona. A recent posting on American Renaissance's website on January 7 begins with an article entitled: "Exit poll: Whites are Different." The site goes on to list anti-immigration articles. Investigators are also pursuing Loughner's alleged anti-Semitism.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation has taken command of the investigation...

Sorry, Ms. Caitie Parker, but it would seem Mr. Loughner's "leftist" politics had changed dramatically in the 4 yrs. since you talked to him.

5. Of course they deny it. What organization willingly implicates itself in murder?

The American terrorists don't have the luxury Middle Eastern terrorist groups have of being able to claim responsibility for these types of attacks and get off unscathed. If AR did claim responsibility for Loughner and his acts, they'd be in a world of hurt the likes of which we haven't seen since Waco.

6. I was referring also to Palin, who now claims her gun sights were actually surveyor sights.
Laughable.

These people incite and incite, but don't have the courage to take responsibility for their rhetoric.

14. "her gun sights were actually surveyor sights"
LOL Is she even serious? Trying BS like that is the worst thing she could do. She should be playing the "oh yes i put targets up but I can't be held responsible for anyone assuming that meant to shoot anybody" card. Still makes her look awful but not as awful as this "surveyor sights" trash.

I'm very curious to see the results of the warrant searches, where we are bound to find writings/computer files that make the shooter's intentions/beliefs abundantly clear (far beyond the few disjointed snipits we've gotten from facebook/youtube). Also very curious to see what happens when the "person of interest" is found. Jared was obviously a mentally ill person, possibly paranoid schizophrentic (sp?), and I would not be the least bit surprised to find out some sick individual knew this, and used his mental illness as a weapon to get Jared to do the killings. Much like Al qaeda brainwashing the poor and ignorant into suicide bombings. If that is true then the true terrorists are the ones that pushed him into the shooting, and I bet when we find that person or people, they will be standing WAYYYYYYYYYYYY over on the right.

9. MSNBC - Twitter Girl has no credibility
She has had no contact with the shooter since 2007. She can't back up her assessment of him being liberal or left wing. Why are they wasting time with her?

10. The Tuscon sheriff's comments yesterday were intriguing...
he spoke of racism and bigotry and all the vitriol being spouted. It made me think he knew of a possible motive stemming from racism/bigotry.

13. MAY BE linked? Fox, why don't you STFU until you know
one way or the other? That goes for the rest of the "news" outlets, too. Damn but I'm sick of this kind of "reporting" that amounts to repeating rumors.

15. This might lend credence to his obsession with literacy...
"District-8 is illiterate" possibly referring to immigrants who speak little English? Does anyone know the immigrant population in District 8?

16. Jared Loughner favored the book Mein Kampf
Mein Kampf is almost required reading for the right wing, skin head, white supremacists.
