5. McConnell did not back DeMint on this - they just got a cloture vote

to open debate. (After Lincoln finishes her good bye speech. ) The rest of the day will be "in morning business" - including debating the treaty. The agreement (requested by Kerry was that Lugar get 40 minutes, that Kyl get comparable time, then he gets 30 minutes. )

I wonder if this is a sign that McConnell wants to show DeMint, who could challenge him, that he is the boss.

are not very good friends anymore. Since good ol' boy Jim Demint joined the teabaggers as their de facto boss you can tell it's really pissed off McConnell. Personally I find any pissing contest between these two a lot of fun.

Now if we could just get these two assholes to enter the Thunderdome. That would be some good entertainment.
