The gays are angry U.S. Rep. Allen West will speak to Wilton Manors business group after he decries repeal of 'Don't Ask, Don't Tell'

A few days ago, West told a Tampa audience that he was unhappy that gays were about to serve openly in the military. From The Tampa Tribune:

"When you take the military and you tell it they must conform to the individual's behavior, then it's just a matter of time until you break down the military," he said. He rejected the comparison to racial integration of the military.

"Let me explain something to you," said West, who is black. "I can't change my color. People can change their behavior, but I can't change my color."

Now, gay activists are unhappy that West will be speaking in very-gay Wilton Manors:

4. No, retired with full benefits. Charges reduced and a $5000. fine was
the result. That just a little over a month's retirement pay.
