What's your take on this "No Labels" meeting today?
Joey Scar has been talking about it. Charlie Crist was talking about it on Tweety.

At first glance, my verdict is that it is a bunch of Republicans who want to whitewash their party image. They are finally getting a bit uncomfortable with polls telling them that Republicans are a party of cave men/women.

Just my suspicion here...I'm pretty cynical any time a republican tells me he's for anything so, er, "congenial"...

1. Me too.
Anytime I hear these folks talk .. as soon as you get into details, even high level details, you hear nothing but GOP talking points.

4. another despicable attempt to rebrand the Republican party as something harmless and centrist.
Screw them--and Naomi Klein ought to sue them for stealing her concept.

9. Follow the money
I'd be suspect of ANY *sudden* group that talking heads like *Dead Intern* Scar and Tweety start singing about. Is it started by yet another millionaire looking to wrangle the low information bunch?

10. According to Salon...
No Labels isn't all that transparent about where its money comes from. That should probably set off some alarm bells.

11. Just look at who is talking about it and how they point fingers at the "liberals"
And the "Democrat" Party. After hearing those labels thrown around while they are claiming to be for "no labels" I knew where they were coming from.
