Jerry Lewis out at MD telethon
His good friend, Richard Belzer, is on with Lawrence O'Donnell talking about it. Says that Jerry will be making a statement soon.

it would have become an EVENT, bringing back the crowds of top line entertainers that had made it a "must watch" event decades ago. Yet for whatever reason, MDA decided to unceremoniously dump him, with no explanation--after 45 years and more than $2 billion raised. This is a disgrace. I am personally not much of a Lewis fan, but I am glad his fellow comedians are rallying behind him. This is wrong.

2. I share your sentiments
I'm more of a Jerry Lewis fan that you, I suspect, but that's beside the point. This is as low a low move as I can imagine.
