The ladies of the view have sold out to the right with barbara leading the charge.
She said she spoke to Roger Ailes who is a good friend of hers. She is convinced that this is not political and the right is not responsible. It might not be political but the right does not deserve a free pass. They got a free pass with Dr Tiller. All of a sudden, they are angels who never did anything or said anything wrong. Now they have Pawlenty on their show and they are kissing his book. Why does the world hate us liberals?

3. Yesterday they were being truthful - even Elizabeth H. Somebody must have gotton to them. Too bad.
Jon Stewart also wimped out. I guess these folks are afraid they might be next.

6. I watched both The View and The Talk yesterday
I wanted to see how each handled the story. The View was disappointing to say the least. I was absolutely disgusted with what Barbara Walters had to say. I rarely watch The View anymore.

I was more than pleased with The Talk. The Talk was wonderful. They talked about the tragedy for the first fifteen minutes and honored those who died by saying each name and something about each person's life. They went to the heart of the event and instead of politicking or excusing anyone, they talked about the tragedy of the lives cut down.

7. Instead of the tragedy, Barabara is focused on defending the vitriolic rhetoric of the military RW
After all, Roger Ailes, her good friend, said so.

10. Whoopi was the voice of reason.
She said, "When I was growing up, and people would talk, other people got LYNCHED because of what people said."

She got a round of applause.

Whoopi is the only intelligent life on there, assuming that Joy is gone.

I always remember that one of Baba Wawa's boyfriends was one of the biggest bastards in American politics, Roy Cohn.
Roy Cohn was one of Joe McCarthy's right hand men, like Richard Nixon, back in the McCarthy era.

McCarthy finally went too far when he said President Eisenhower was a communist. My DH's Republican family said McCarthy had gone too far. DH's grandfather was a 3 star general (from the National Guard in Oklahoma) who served with Eisenhower when he was Supreme Allied Commander, and DH's dad was a Lt. Colonel. Very military and Republican family.

11. How does Ailes know?
Has he met with Loughner? Does he have inside information about his motives?

No. He just says what profits himself.
