I have to say , the way the Syrian Revolution is playing out : We are seeing History

Egypt pales in comparison . This is the "storming of the Bastille" of this age.

Those who are unaware of the brutal fascist nature of the Syrian regime may dismiss those people.

More than 2,000 dead, 15000 arrested , 3,000 missing . All in five months.

and Israel is the bogey man of those sordid morbid governments.

And , being half Syrian (and of the dreamy kind), I am really proud of them , and happy for them , as I know they are happy.

Their screams for freedom sound exactly like the wales of those suffering slavery , and want to bear it no more.

undertheocean out.

2. Do you really think that Syrians can prevail over the despicable ruling scum?

Assad and his gang are ruthless. Do you think he and his thugs will surrender power?

4. How does it end?
In Egypt the military remained more or less neutral. In Libya there is a rebel stronghold producing fighters willing to pick up arms and fight along with some defectors from the regime.

But I don't see any armed resistance or defectors in Syria and I doubt that NATO would intervene as the main (and only) armed resistance. I don't see it ending well but pray that it does. Any help?

5. The level of heroic dedication in the face of greater and greater danger
just keeps escalating. Hats off to all people claiming their human rights in the face of brutal opression.

6. Your country is amazing to me. Congratulations!
I saw a piece on Free Speech TV with one of the protesters and he was totally committed even in the face of such a murderous monarchist remnant regime. I think it's about to topple, too.

7. Remember, we didn't hear about the protesters disappeared
beaten, tortured or even killed in Egypt because it was inconvenient for our government. And the scene very much continues in Egypt.
