Watching Inside Job
I gained a shit ton of respect for Matt Damon, but i seriously can't believe what i'm seeing and hearing, my stomach is just churning and i'm so pissed off. Now i know why Glass-Steagall was repealed.

Pretty sad. Yes, Damon is a great young actor.

There is another one you might want to see that explains the shell game really well. I can look up the availability.

4. It's another WTF and business goes on as usual for the most part. IMO congress and
the SEC can't keep up and often there is complacency IMO.

5. It's revolting isn't it?
To tell you the truth, I haven't watched INSIDE JOB yet. I am still recovering from HOT COFFEE and
TOO BIG TO FAIL.

I can only imagine how you are feeling. After watching TBTF, I felt as if I had been punched in the face
and that I needed a support group to help get me through the next 24 hours.

Anyone who believes that what is happening in this country--is some big accident or not the fault of
both parties, is living in a fool's paradise, aren't they?

I'll have to to watch IJ. I'm sure it's gut wrenching.

Be well...Maybe your next movie will be a zany comedy?? :)

8. Watching it again
and this time all I can think of is telling Obama that the nation has watched Inside Job and he better too if he wants to understand how the American public feels.
We are supposed to follow the law and are punished if we do not. If the wealthy financial sector destroys the world economy they are in fact protected by our very own government.
This is what Obama does not get. He considers this "progressive thinking."

9. Protecting the wealthy financial sector
has become the single greatest government purpose in the U.S.A. Well that and the military industrial complex. What happened to our once wonderful nation?

12. It is a great film
and Ferguson started out with basically one question: "What the f*ck happened here??"

I was so angry after seeing that film that I needed two martinis to calm down. And even then I was ready to go home and start building guillotines.

13. And note that both former IMF head Dominique Strauss-Kahn and current IMF head...
Christine Lagarde are interviewed in this film, before the mess that DSK was involved with...

I noticed him in it when I watched it over Christmas, but later realized after watching it that Lagarde was also in it.

Look at what happened with the IMF with Greece during this time frame as well as what happened with his "hotel incident", and you might find yourself asking yourself more questions than getting answers. Something this film tries not to do by trying to answer a lot of questions for average people that are also thorny, but can provoke a lot more questions in the process, and perhaps some it doesn't even anticipate. Seeing Eliot Spitzer in it also got me to watch "Client 9" documentary from last year too, which was also excellent.
