"Quinn ‘disappointed’ in Michael Madigan for attending John Boehner fund-raiser "
“Frankly I’m disappointed,” Quinn said. “I don’t think going to see John Boehner at some gathering at a house in Lemont, supporting ... the ‘John Boehner’ fund, sends the right message.”

Madigan’s surprise appearance at the fund-raiser for the Ohio Republican is raising ire from both Democrats and Republicans.

Boehner had come to town the night before to raise money for a legal challenge to the map Madigan, Speaker of the state House of Representatives, helped draw eviscerating Republican congressional districts in Illinois.

Illinois Republicans donated considerable money to chat with Boehner at his fund-raiser at the home of CME Chairman Terry Duffy in Lemont. Some said they were shocked to see Madigan there as a non-paying guest of the head of the company that owns the Chicago Mercantile Exchange and the Chicago Board of Trade."

I can't imagine ANY Illinois Democratic Party leader attending a Republican fund-raiser when LBJ, Carter, or Clinton were President, I hope Debbie Wasserman Schultz burned Madigan's phone with her justified anger!

2. Unfortunately, the power brokers in the Illinois Democratic Party are all DINOs!
Madigan is just one of several powerful IL Dems and GOPers who believes the state treasury was intended as his private bank account and government employment, a jobs program for the politically connected. :(

4. Time for Illinois democrats to dump the rat Madigan.
Any democrat that attends a fundraiser headed by Boner, but who can't set aside an a few hours to attend a rally with the democratic President of the United States of American, is a shitwad. The bastard needs to be dumped now in favor of a democrat that has his or her head screwed on right. Democrats can't go into the 2012 elections with a person like Madigan heading the democratic party in a key state.
