Cafferty: Why are GOP voters are ‘allergic to brains?’
Source: RawReplay
By David Edwards

CNN’s Jack Cafferty asserted Wednesday that “intellectual lightweights” Rep. Michele Bachmann and Gov. Rick Perry were “sucking up most of the media’s attention, mostly for saying stupid stuff.”

“If Palin runs, we’ll have yet another Mensa candidate to join Bachmann and Perry,” Cafferty worried.

“When it comes to presidential politics, why does America seem to be allergic to brains?”

2. The only thing going for those brainless pols is their innate
foxiness, abilty to pontificate and convolute the truth. Cafferty sez it.

don't get me wrong. bachmann and the rest of the republicanic field will be destroyed. they have no brains.

but they have set the course. right or wrong. the stupid. the ones SOLEY dependent on the state to survive. not on their own INDEPENDENT wits. WON'T. it's not fair. heart should count more.

the truth is those that don't depend on politics WILL survive. of course those(that happen to be where when it counts(so others will think they are the messiah)), and are flexible.Think qadaffi. outlived his time and his GREEN revolution. those that follow an ISM(communism, socialism, capitalism, libertarianism)

don't feel bad you are wrong. you were there. to make a difference on the choices later. depend on the CHAOS principle.

that's how evolution works. try to make a difference. on the light hope you might make a a change for the better in the LONG run.

if your kind died out, because they were not smart enough to protect their type and only defend others, that's nature.

EVOLUTION,

8. Oh literally there have been books written on the subject
it is part of the anti intellectual tradition of this country.

Perhaps I should tune Cafferty in to Jacoby's work for the most recent take on this?

9. While I agree that it appears that most American's...
want to vote for their equal rather than the person most qualified for the position, I don't think anyone short of the most rabid white supremacist would argue that Obama is not brilliant. However, that also shows that intelligence alone is not enough.
