2012 Tampa Bloodbath
I hope I am wrong here, because even as much as I love the idea of the Tea party fighting with the GOP, I knowsuch a fight could put people in the morgue or hospital. What do I mean?

The GOP convention will be in Tampa, now, Tampa is central Florida, ground Zero for the Tea party, and the area where they had their first major fight with the GOP, where Tea Party fave Rick Scott beat out Jeb Bush's puppet, Bill MCcOllum. Now, because of the state's finances, and because Rick vetoed the High Speed Rail Obama wanted to give us, there are many GOP who have buyer's remorse over Scott, but the Tea Party keeps screaming in the paper. Oddly enough, Jeb Bush is left out in the cold, he recently tried sending a list of suggestions to Rick Scott, only to be ignored.

Where this gets ugly is with marco Rubio. Rubio is groomed by Jeb as a probable VP in 2016, but Scott has his own plans to run, and many in the Tea Party insist he should abandon Jeb and become the Tea Party's main spokesman, possibly hooking up with Perry or Bachmann, and leaves the name "bush" behind. This means the Tea party will make their prescence in Tampa known, especially if Mittens is the front runner, as they think Mittens is a liberal, (and the fact he is Mormon does NOT help matters.)

Again, this sounds like fun, except for the fact that these people like to get violent and bloody. let us not forget, Rick Scott funded the "town hall" protest back in the healthcare days, when people would storm meetings...and if Rubio decides to abandon Jeb, he could get a LOT of support, (not the last of which from the right wing Cubans that have been running South Florida for years.)

This can get ugly.

1. Is it wrong to hope they all shoot each other?
}(

Seriously I'll be interested to see if they can get through convention without Bush/Rubio taking over. Maybe he'll be content to wait until 2016, but maybe not.

2. I don't know firsthand about the condition of the Tea Party in Tampa...
but here in St. Augustine, and over in Jax the leadership and party are in shambles. There's in-fighting all the time, and too many cooks in the kitchen. It's hard to believe they are really much more organized at the state level.

4. Did Jeb Bush move out of Florida?
If he hasn't, he had better before 2016 if he wants Rubio to run as a VP on his ticket.
