Most Americans oppose rule by the corporatocracy but don't have the tools to fight back. Here are three things we need to create a real people's movement.

Transforming the United States into something closer to a democracy requires: 1) knowledge of how we are getting screwed; 2) pragmatic tactics, strategies, and solutions; and 3) the “energy to do battle.”

The majority of Americans oppose the corporatocracy (rule by giant corporations, the extremely wealthy elite,

and corporate-collaborator government officials); however, many of us have given up hope that this tyranny can be defeated. Among those of us who continue to be politically engaged, many focus on only one of the requirements—knowledge of how we are getting screwed. And this singular focus can result in helplessness. It is the two other requirements that can empower, energize, and activate Team Democracy— a team that is currently at the bottom of the standings in the American Political League.

*****
1. Knowledge of How We are Getting Screwed
2. Pragmatic Tactics, Strategies and Solutions
3. The Energy to Do Battle

and in this article is a very wise quote from Harriet Tubman:
“I freed a thousand slaves. I could have freed a thousand more if only they knew they were slaves.”

5. There IS a Blue Print for "CHANGE".
The Populist Reforms sweeping across Latin America are nothing short of near bloodless revolutions.
They give me "HOPE" for the World.

But you won't hear too much about it in the US Media (Wonder Why?)
In fact, they, and our elite Politicians of BOTH political parties will do Everything they Can to DEMONIZE
the successful reforms in South and Central America.
"The worst enemy of humanity is U.S. capitalism. That is what provokes uprisings like our own, a rebellion against a system, against a neoliberal model, which is the representation of a savage capitalism. If the entire world doesn't acknowledge this reality, that nation states are not providing even minimally for health, education and nourishment, then each day the most fundamental human rights are being violated."
----Bolivian Reform President Evo Morales

FDR said much the same thing in 1944 with his Economic Bill of Rights.
What happened to THAT "Democratic Party"?

Our neighbors to The South have given us the Blue Print for successful reform.
They DID have one advantage:
Their elections are Open, Transparent, Verifiable, and Monitored by International Agencies.

When The Working Class & The Poor realize WE have More in Common with each other
than we have in common with the Wealthy Elite Class Leadership of BOTH dominant Political parties,
THEN we can demand "CHANGE".

Look SOUTH for the Blue Print.
VIVA Democracy!!!
I PRAY we get some here soon.

Spread the WORD!

You will know them by their WORKS,
not by their excuses.

Solidarity!

6. Countries in Latin and South America have been far worse off than us
I grew up in Mexico and it seemed so bad for so many people there and the government was so corrupt that I thought it could never change. Most countries in South America were just as bad, yet they are changing and Democracy is becoming a fact.
