Will the Austerity Riots ever make it across the pond to the States?
The same things that are happening over in Europe and the UK to the people are either already happening here or are on their way, Spain, Greece, Ireland, and we're next. Everyone knows we're next, but will we riot when the austerity measures are imposed? When college tuition triples, the retirement age is raised, or the retirement accounts are razed, will we get off the sofa and strike, march, riot, or otherwise strike back, or will we take it and appologise for complaining?

Will we take to the streets en masse?

5. The majority of us are still within an acceptable comfort zone
What's happening in Europe is what you see when that comfort zone is ripped out from under people. We'll react the same way when that happens to us. Americans are no different than any other human being on the planet.

And if you continue to watch what's going on there you'll soon notice a huge backlash to subdue and suppress the rioters from the governments. We already see it in the 'kettling' in Britain. Any historian can predict what will happen. People are going to get killed, jailed, disappeared and generally oppressed.

6. When states start enacting more austerity and greater
Austerity kicks in at the federal level - you will see Americans
Have a different set of reactions from what they've had til now.

What that will be - I don't know.

7. People keep yelling about large corporations and the wealthy
however they are powerless to screw the masses without government collusion.

We need real regulation and real representatives.
