Update on the war against Libya and Africa - September 28th

Update on the war against Libya and Africa - September 28th

Wednesday, 28.09.2011 - 00:58

Sabha, Ghadames, Ghat, Taha, Murzuk and other towns and oases, are under the control of the Jamahiriya.

The Tuareg published a communique in which they confirmed their full support for the Jamahiriya. They also said that they would take revenge on the rebels for the atrocities committed against peaceful Libyans.

The rats are preparing a tank assault on Bani Walid. Bani Walid is still being fiercely bombed by NATO, the white 'west' European, Canadian and United States armed forces, at the command of the governments of those countries, while their populations remain silent. In general, the number of mercenaries is reduced.

In Sirte, mercenaries broke into the port at night and now await the landing of NATO troops. Fighters in Tripoli are awaiting reinforcements from Tarragon.

2. "Fighters in Tripoli are awaiting reinforcements from Tarragon"
Parsley, sage, rosemary, and thyme are also suspected to be involved in aiding the NATO invasion.

3. Very interesting...but stupid.

■Beni Walid. After assassination of Nato-mercenaries commander, all Nato-mercenaries exhausted and demoralized, were fled from the city. The road from Tarragon to Ben-Valid was liberated.

4. Surely you aren't taking seriously the claim that "NATO troops" will be landing at Sirte?

5. I certainly wouldn't be surprised.

There are now quite a few 'boots on the ground', many specialists and not a few special forces types, British, French, US, Qarti. Wouldn't expect the 82 Airborne, yet. But dribbling more in, very credible.

6. Mathaba is a Gaddafi propaganda site
It continues to promote the return to power in Libya of the 'Lion of Africa' (Muammar Gaddafi, the man who created this 'news agency'):

Mathaba News Agency

The Mathaba News Agency (al-Mathaba, meaning "The Center"), also called the Anti-Imperialism Center (AIC), is an alternative news agency created by the regime of Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi in 1982 to further world-revolutionary and anti-imperialist goals.<1> It has organized a number of conferences in Tripoli, attended by leftist or anti-Western leaders including Robert Mugabe of Zimbabwe's ZANU-PF, Daniel Ortega of the FSLN in Nicaragua, Raul Reyes of Colombia's FARC, and Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva of Brazil.<1>

It is affiliated with the International Green Charter Movement (IGCM),<2> based on Gaddafi's Green Book and the political philosophy it espouses, known as Jamahiriya. It also hosts a forum<3> and a private microblogging service.<4>

In the 2011 Libyan Civil War, it featured articles from a pro-Gaddafi perspective, including reporting on Hugo Chavez's support for the Gaddafi government,<5> while it also reported on Western opposition to the NATO military intervention, citing articles by Dennis Kucinich, among others.<6> On 16 August 2011, 3 months after rebels had defeated Gaddafi forces in Misrata, the news agency reported that "Misrata has been liberated by loyalist volunteers of Colonel Muammar Gaddafi and the Libyan Defence Forces."<7> It further reported on 25 August 2011, that news reports showing Tripoli in the hands of the rebels were "fake footage from Qatar" made using a "replica of Tripoli in Qatar ... used to spread fake media reports on Jazeera, CNN and the BBC world wide."<8><9> As late as 1 September 2011, with the opposition in control of most of the country, the agency claimed that Gaddafi still had "massive support among an estimated 95% of the population."<10>

8. Libya: “the jewel in the crown”

Libya: “the jewel in the crown”

In a recent teleconference with US businessmen, Washington’s ambassador to Libya let slip a telling phrase while referring to the North African nation’s oil reserves.

Ambassador Gene Cretz, who recently ran the stars and stripes up the flagpole at the previously abandoned US embassy in Tripoli recounted to reporters the contents of the briefing he delivered to representatives of some 150 American businessmen. Joining him in the presentation was Assistant Secretary for Economic, Energy and Business Affairs Jose Fernandez, the State Department’s point-man on pursuing US corporate—and particularly oil—interests abroad. The agency has also played a leading role in seeking US investments in Iraq.

“We know that oil is the jewel in the crown of Libyan natural resources, but even in Gaddafi’s time they were starting from A to Z in terms of building infrastructure and other things,” said Cretz.

The US ambassador continued: “If we can get American companies here on a fairly big scale, which we will try to do everything we can to do that, then this will redound to improve the situation in the United States with respect to our own jobs.”

13. The plan for Libya is the same as Iraq.
It will be turned into a NeoLiberal Free Market HELL
where everything will be owned by the Global Banks, the Global Resource Exaction Corporations, and the IMF.

The next step is the insertion of Western "Peacekeepers" to ensure that a Corporate Friendly puppet government is installed.

” For all his dictatorial megalomania, Gaddafi is a committed pan-African - a fierce defender of African unity. Libya was not in debt to international bankers. It did not borrow cash from the International Monetary Fund for any "structural adjustment". It used oil money for social services - including the Great Man Made River project, and investment/aid to sub-Saharan countries. Its independent central bank was not manipulated by the Western financial system. All in all a very bad example for the developing world.”
