Bank of America is about to charge us $5/month for using our Debit cards -- the screwing never ends
Edited on Sat Oct-01-11 10:01 AM by Cyrano
These miserable bastards are already making money off of every dollar you have in your checking account. But it’s just not enough for them. Why should they settle for what they’re making when they can steal more from us?

It’s just a matter of time before the other big banks start charging us for using our debit cards. And what are we going to do about it? What can we do about it? Once again, the banks are screwing us knowing that we’re helpless, stuck and fucked.

They are sucking away every cent we own, all the blood from our bodies, and any hope we have for a better future. What the hell is it going to take before the vast majority of us go totally berserk and start fighting back?

I guess that’s my bottom line question. What’s it going to take before we start fighting back against those who are killing us an inch at a time?

1. Move your money to a credit union.
They are member-owned and therefore less likely to screw you.

6. You won't be charged only as long as you use it at one of their own ATM machines

And how long do you think it will be before the other banks jump in on the raping of their customers?

9. You are not charged for using their ATM....YET.
Shortly after debit cards came out, Mr. Dixie predicted they would charge fees to use them one day, as soon as enough people got used to them.
He also said they would charge a fee for using your own banks ATM, someday soon, and that banks would limit your access to your own cash by by having withdrawal limits on amounts.

Are there withdrawal limits on how much/how often you can use your banks ATM?
Why would you think that would be only applied to ATMs at some point?

8. Credit Unions for the win.
Right now, my money's in a small regional bank, so the banksters at DOA BOA can't scalp me.

16. Think of all the folks with BofA Unemployment, Disability, and Paid Family Leave debit cards.
I hope BofA debit card holders realize that their benefits will be reduced by these fees.

18. You can avoid the fee by paying for things the old-fashioned way.
Use cash for small purchases and checks or credit cards for larger purchases.
