Thank you.

This is a nation largely populated by freedom-loving radicals and largely owned by a relatively few ultrarich concersavatives.

1. Robin Williams had a bit where he said that politicians should wear NASCAR uniforms.
That way we can know who's paying them and who they really work for. Sometimes we have to go to comedians for the real truth.

2. The Jester is allowed to speak
For who would listen to a fool?

I must be a fool then, too? Better a fool than a sucker...

3. Look at Jon Stewart - he and Colbert destroy MSM idiots on a nightly basis.

5. No they don't. If they were destroyed, they wouldn't come back the next night.

6. At the very least, he makes a total mockery of the idiots on Fox.
And especially Fox & Friends - my god that has to be the dumbest show on TV. I can feel my IQ dropping a few points just by watching the clips that Stewart and Colbert show.

4. It's also how we know it's totalitarianism
In any totalitarian society, the news is forced to lie and only comedians are allowed to tell the truth.

8. Absolutely ENRON for example.
Spot-on, Warpy. It is totalitarianism and the corrupt run the show. For evidence, Amy Goodman interviews Greg Palast and Robert Brycke: ENRON: The Bush Connection.

The Gang controls the Corporations. The Corporations control the jobs. The jobs control pretty much everybody.

And while ALL the shit rolls downhill, ALL the money flows to the top.

9. It's like George Carlin said - it's a big club and we're not in it.
