4. Getting arrested leaves a memory

Getting maced does too. The protests will have an effect, how great we won't know for a while. It seems to be spreading, with a protest planned for even nearby Tucson on Oct 9th. L.A., Boston and more.
My concern is that the protests have no core message, just a kind of public unrest. How will the message be focused? Or will these protests just become a big happening, a hip thing, a fad........
