Any elected Democrats at the Wall Street protests?
I expect that we Liberals are totally on our own, but hopefully I'm wrong.

3. Why would an elected Dem want to associate with a scatter-brained
group of anarchists?

You don't win by appealing to the fringe!

Ron Paul might show up though.

14. Sheesh...I can understand why you were "banned from Kos."
What's interesting is that you are proud enough of your "banned from Kos" you come over here to present your wares.

Seems it's a better (more gullible) crowd to listen to your stuff? :eyes:

19. I view them....
....more as a group of patriots brave enough to demand change and challenge a corrupt and evil system....

....calling for an end of to the corporate greed and corruption that has devastated our nation and people is not 'fringe', it's mainstream America....who do you know that's in favor of corporate greed and corruption?

"Ron Paul might show up though."....I doubt it, he's 'fringe'.

22. Word is...
that he (Paul) has acknowledged it. Libertarianism is a crock, as far as I'm concerned (hey, let's turn EVERYTHING over to the 1%!) but there's overlap in the nature of the grievances - in particular the unaccountability of the Fed and the banking system.

4. They'll show their faces only after the battle has been won...
..and all the work has been done. And after they've enabled or actively thrown as many road blocks as possible in the way of the protestors making any progress. Then and only then they'll be the first ones in line for the victory lap and to use it in their fundraising e-mails.

7. I remember this little film from the 70s or 80s where a guy goes out and kills a dragon
and at the end, the simpering cowardly king shows up with a sword and poses atop the carcass.

Yep, expect (and shout down) those who would show up late to the party to claim it as their own.

24. Well, if the King were a Democrat...
Then there'd be a sizable contingent of people on DU who would clap no matter how transparent his lie, simply because...."Well, would you rather be ruled by the dragon!?!?!?!?!".

13. Not yet...that I've read about...I figure they are waiting "for the right time."
Never good to move in too early. Better to wait until you can capitalize on the situation...politically, that is.
