What if Ibrahim al-Asiri was the target?
I've been rolling this around in my head a bit. What if the bombmaker was the target, and al-Awlaki and Khan were in the wrong Toyota at the wrong time, so to speak?

FWIW, I'm not by any means convinced it's so. But from an operations standpoint, who cares about the propagandists, really, compared to the guy who enriches the arsenal? Al-Awlaki was already neutered by Treasury, and Samir's work was laughable by any standard.
