Let's say in a Central American country, a group of trained
terrorists and killers were wreaking havoc in villages in the countryside. Let's say these people were armed and trained and given logistics and propaganda support by people living in the US. Would you be ok if the government of that country sent drones around the US in the countryside and cities killing people they believed were connected to these operations?
2. i dunno, seems like sending drones around the countryside to kill
people, including numerous innocent bystanders along with the allegedly guilty (no due process on that BTW, is this the new normal?) is an awfully slippery slope to be standing on for the US to claim it's higher ground.
4. The closer connection would be JSOC as an extension
of the death squads Reagan, Bush operated in Central America, the Salvador Option globalized. Cheney was the ranking member of the Iran-Contra Select Committee and JSOC is his baby with McChrystal.
9. Maybe another way to look would be to imagine if the government of Haiti
or Libya or Iraq or Somalia or Yemen or Afghanistan or Pakistan or Colombia or Cuba (am I leaving anyone out?) sent drones over here to counter the threats coming at them from the United States.
