3. Its c. 8.30 British Summer time which yes is 5 hours ahead of EST

but could go on until c. 9.30pm our time here. There is not just the murder charge. There were numerous other charges she was found guilty of too - disturbing a crime scene etc. The Judge has to summerise the whole lot.

4. Apparently, a US television network DOES have a jet on standby for the family.

If she gets out of there, I imagine she will beat feet to Fiumicino so fast that she blazes a trail--and I cannot say I blame her.

6. Ewww. Fox. I did watch the verdict--the ex-boyfriend was freed too.

They'll be in jail for one more day, to do paperwork. She has to pay a fine and restitution of twenty some odd thousand Euros for defamation to the guy she fingered, but she is as good as gone.

7. She'll get her dough back

with the book she's written and apparently there's a film in the pipline too. However - the prosecution may pursue their right to the 3rd appeal at the Supreme Court in Rome. If so it will interesting to see if that's conducted in Knox's absense.

Its the family of Merdith Kercher I feel sorry for - Meridith was a real victin here.
