McMahon leading GOP field in Connecticut
A new Public Policy Polling survey in Connecticut finds Linda McMahon (R) crushing Chris Shays (R) in a Republican U.S. Senate primary, 60% to 27%.

Key findings: "Shays holds a slight lead on McMahon with moderates at 44% to 40% but gets completely blown out with conservative voters. With Republicans describing themselves as 'somewhat conservative' McMahon leads 60% to 26% and with those describing themselves as 'very conservative' it's an astonishing 81% to 14% spread."

It's much closer on the Democratic side, with Chris Murphy (D) leading Susan Bysiewicz (D), 39% to 33%, with William Tong (D) registering at 8%.

1. Susan B. needs to bow out. she has too much baggage a this point.
Chris Murphy is who we need to run against that creepy McMahon...no way are CT voters gonna elect her...

4. She isn't the "type" that CT yankees elect as their senator. She just isn't.
All that smarmy wrestling stuff just makes her look worse.

Chris Murphy, on the other hand, is a clean cut young man who is very earnest and endearing to voters. He is tireless about ringing doorbells and introducing himself. A great guy and a good liberal Dem.

McMahon is so godawful she defeats herself! She can spend herself silly for all I care. She won't make it. People got SO SICK of her commercials last time around they couldn't wait for her to be gone!

I'm just sorry we have to be subjected to her face again one more time...

5. Her (and Vince's) business practices are quite the turnoff to the majority of female voters too.

6. She's promising to run a more "personal" campaign
which means she will spend only $40 million this time around.

Anyone who'd marry Vince McMahon has a severe character flaw. And yes, I am a wrestling fan of 25 years.
