Three hundred and twenty million dollars a day down the shithole.

And we're tossing Hellfire missiles ($160K each) at people in Pakistan, Yemen, Lybia and Somalia.

:(

Hey, on the plus side I didn't bitch about our new $40 billion dollar aircraft carrier, the USS Gerald R Ford. Or the three $5 billion dollar Zumwalt-class destroyers we're building.

14. I'm going to laugh like hell if the USS Gerald R. Ford has some sort of embarassing accident,
It would, after all, be quite fitting.

3. That's some ' austerity' the MIC is engaging in. And what are the American people
getting out of this wasteful spending?

Mean cruel Country, the USA, run by mean cruel greedy people.

Not a point the candidates should be making, but definitely a point the surrogates should be making. ;)

8. Geez........ stop complaining.
What would you rather have? Just a few years of $320,000,000 days down a shithole or safe bridges here at home? Huh? Huh? The Defense Department doesn`t just go around wasting money. Those videos the military spokespeople show on tee vee show how we hit the target every time plus we`re getting rid of almost all the people who hate us for our freedom. Freedom isn`t free. That`s why we have to choose between Hellfire missles and liberal stuff like school breakfasts for hungry kids. Missles are people too.

11. Maybe the OWS protests...
...and http://october2011.org/ will eventually bring the troops home.

Let's just hope they're not given new orders to point the weapons at us.
