2. He must be going to run.
Why else would he hold a press conference?

5. that's what I was thinking...but, I heard some NJ politicians say the
whole thing is distracting (lot's of problems to focus on in NJ) and maybe it's to say "stop bothering me" ?

4. I vote no based on where the press conference is taking place
NJ. If he was running he would be at one of the more crucial primary states.

9. I think he's a realist enough to know he can't mount a serious challenge
just barely three months before the first votes. And that he isn't a tea party favorite. I think he wants one of these guys to take the fall in 2012 and then he will run in 2016.

He's not running. He will probably thank those who have encouraged him and pledge to help the GOP win the White House, but he won't run. Just my opinion of course.

He's too much of a leftist for the rabid republican base. The teabaggers would throw him off the bus.

30. If he does, he'll be another Tea Party loser in a few weeks.
Bachmann was their savior. Then she sucked. Perry was then their new savior. Then he sucked more. Christie will be their new savior and blow it in a few weeks.

Even if he did run, I suspect he wouldn't be aiming for the top spot, but for the nod as running mate.
