I Feel Really, Really Bad for the Multi-Millionaires.

No, Really, I do.

Okay, maybe not as much as I could. In fact, I'm pretty sure that what they are likely to suffer is something I'm not going to go out of my way to save them from. Oh, hell... I'm probably going to  over it. So I suppose the subject line here might be a little... *ahem*... disingenuous.

But did I get your attention?

Good. Because part of me actually does feel badly for those poor, wretched, multi-millionaires (Naturally, this does not include progressive/liberal/empirical-minded multi-millionaires who already know what's going down). Why?

Because they're not 'Multi-Billionaires'.

Let me explain;

It is the Multi-Billionaires, whether they be individuals or corporations (not that there's a legal difference at this point), who have control over the system right now. Right now, there are many, many multi-millionaires, some with even hundreds of millions of dollars, who think they are in the same league as the Multi-Billionaires. Even Dick 'go fuck yourself' Cheney thinks that he has some kind of dynasty at this point.
Sorry Richard, but you've been a tool for forces far greater than yourself. Your pull in DC was just valuable enough to make you http://www.celebritynetworth.com/richest-politicians/republicans/dick-cheney-net-worth/">worth a fraction of that of the lowest of your True Masters.

If you are not a Multi-Billionaire, then you are not immune to the collapse.
(We'll talk about that 'collapse' in a few.)

You cannot buy a private island, rotating nautical security along with 24/7 surveillance, and the loyalty of every person on your security team or even in your own family to a certainty for very long with only a few hundred million dollars. Sure, you could do your very, very best to create an autonomous environment with renewable resources, but for how many generations? After you've sunk every iota of currency-value into your holdings, what becomes of you then? Sure you could have a wonderful self-supporting system to sustain your little world, but without the market, without the security infrastructure of the nation, and without the force of law, what are you when the rest of the world is left hungry?

How funny is it that by investing your 'wealth' into a communist model, you become a target. What? Did you think that you'd remain at the top of the heap in your world for very long and be the only ones eating tuna out of a can while everyone else ate cat food?

How many 'nobles' did the hordes take out in the hours leading up to the Bastille?

I feel very sorry for the millionaires that believe their Multi-Billionaire big brothers have everything set up for them when the masses finally turn after the collapse. I feel sorry for them because they send 'their people' to shop at fine places and bring back gourmet foods, but will find themselves without the niceties after the collapse. I feel sorry for them because they will not be able to maintain the loyalty and vigilance of those they promised to 'pay' with funds they can no longer manage or even collect after the collapse they've helped to engineer. I feel sorry for them because they believe that there will be enough enforcement available, despite the destruction of unions they all seek, to maintain their security. I feel sorry for them because they cannot comprehend what they have allowed or helped to bring about.

I feel bad for them because they believe themselves above the world they live in. I feel bad for them because they would read something like this and dismiss it out of hand because that, after all, is not their current reality. Well, 'reality' is about to catch up to them.

We've tapped the oil. The Multi-Billionaire corpeople have made sure that the flow keeps us at 'willing-to-do-anything-addict' stage. We've http://www.converge.org.nz/pirm/frames/fish!f.htm">tapped the fisheries. We'll be lucky if our great-grandkids will know or remember what salmon tasted like. We've wrecked our own economy in order to funnel TRILLIONS of dollars into demonstrably useless wars through the pockets of many of you mere 'multi-millionaires'.

This will be the most severe collapse in the history of humanity. You poor mutli-millionaire sods have been bamboozled by people that actually have a chance of escaping the fallout and guiding their own progeny into a new future that they control. Where are you Multi-Millionaires in this future full of hungry people?

You're dog food.

The civilized person in me feels very, very badly for all of you.
The historian and part German Shepherd in me is just wagging his tail.

Send this to any 'conservative' millionaires you know.

1. I feel sorry for them because when the shit hits the fan...
and civilization collapses, they won't have a clue how to take care of themselves. They couldn't grow a carrot or a row of bush beans if their life depended on it. And it will. And they will starve to death.

2. No, they won't starve to death.
They'll either be helped by the people they used to shit on, or they'll be eaten.

Figuratively, that is.

3. Oh, and be sure to talk to your multi-millionaire friends
About setting up a commune. They'll be the only ones with a modicum of security.

5. "Gir! Do you want to wake up the whole planet?!?"

"I Dooooo..." I love that show.

I just can't forget that one sign at a protest not long ago; "Tax the Rich Now or Eat them Later"

7. Oh that's a great sign!
I think I'll use it! Multinational Corporatist. It's What's For Dinner!

Side note and speaking of shows... been watching Doctor #1 episode The Aztecs. Really awesome if you haven't seen it.

6. I decided to NOT be a millionaire because I knew I could not stand the demonization.
So far, my plan is working.

8. I decided not to be because of the work it would involve.
Seriously, If I become a millionaire, I'm going to have to start up my business models, patent my inventions, and I won't have any 'keeping above water' excuses to avoid the (by now) 30 some-odd writing projects I have lined up.

Shit, can you imagine how little video gaming I'd get done if I were a millionaire?

I'm with you!
