OccupyTheFed
#OccupyTheFED
This is in solidarity with the #OccupyWallSt, and #OccupyDc, #oct6th Movements as well as Occupations beginning around the world!!!
http://pastebin.com/zJ7Bg2e5

We are calling for the end of the economic enslavement at the hands of the federal reserve. Calling for the SIMULTANEOUS Occupation of all Regional Banks and sub branches in November during the National Fed Rallies or sooner if necessary.
We demand not only for Ben Bernanke to step down as Chairman of the Federal Reserve but also the immediate passage of HR 459 and S 202, the Federal Reserve Transparency Act AS WELL AS A TIMELY & SPECIFIC END DATE, SET BY CONGRESS, TO END THE ILLEGAL FEDERAL RESERVE SYSTEM.

We recommend those who are ready to free themselves from the chains of economic enslavement to begin focusing and implementing alternative currencies in your local community. These include, but are not limited to, silver, gold, seeds, ammo, water, supplies, etc.

This is about peacefuL and non-violent resistance. We are calling for the blockade of entrances to the Federal Reserve offices by occupation. Remain peaceful, read from the constitution, meditate, lay down, etc!!!

"Let your life be a counter friction to stop the machine." - Henry David Thoreau

LIVE FREE. THINK FREE.

We do not forgive. We do not forget. Expect us.
This movement was to put together with help from The Houston Free Thinkers, Danny Panzella of www.truthsquad.tv, and other independent activists around the country,.... join us in the resistance.

1. Did you see Senator Sanders this a.m. questionning Bernanke about
banks (BofA and Citi) who are still charging 25-30% interest on credit cards? Bernanke answered that as long as the banks explained what they were doing, then no harm done, it was perfectly legal.

Senator Sanders also asked why the big banks were loaned trillions at 0% interest but the Fed was not willing to lend a nickle to small business. Bernanke said the Fed knew what the banks capital was and that since they (the Fed) regulated them, they weren't a risk. On the other hand, small business were too great a risk. What a PoS!!

3. "Follow the money"
and the trail leads to Fed, ECB, BIS, IMF, World Bank etc. etc. The institutions of unfettered financial capitalism, institutions of the tenth of 1%.

We - this planet and human race as part of it - cannot afford the currenct financial system that is based on interest and debt and infinite continuous growth. Ford said: "If people understood the way money is created, there would be revolution the next morning.". Those who control the amount of money, control everything. And we 99% ain't those.

To reject an idea or criticism just because it can be associated with the "wrong people" is not rational. It is stupid tribalistic partisan hacksterism, divisive us-against-them loserism.

this is Ron Paul bullshit ideologue.

This makes no fuckin sense what so ever, it is an attempt to stifle the Ows

Anyone who thinks this is a bright idea is as cuckoo as Paul himself.

"FDL Statement on the Committee Passage of H.R. 1207, the Paul-Grayson Bill to Audit the Fed
By: Jane Hamsher Friday November 20, 2009 7:00 am

Alan Grayson has worked tirelessly since becoming a member of Congress to expose the corruption and lack of accountability at the Federal Reserve, and Firedoglake has been proud to support his efforts.

When nobody was really paying attention, Grayson began working to sign Democratic cosponsors to Ron Paul’s H.R. 1207, which authorizes the GAO to conduct a wide-ranging audit of the Fed — something that has never been done it its history. Thanks to his efforts, the bill has gone from 190 to 311 bipartisan cosponsors.

When a last-minute attempt by leadership and the banks threatened to derail the Paul-Grayson bill, Firedoglake circulated a letter signed by labor leaders, noted economists, authors and financial bloggers to demonstrate progressive support for the effort. The letter pulled no punches, asserting that the Fed had “extended massive secret bailouts to major financial institutions” and calling upon Democrats on the Financial Services Committee to stand up to the banks by supporting the Paul-Grayson bill.

Despite the vocal opposition of Chairman Barney Frank and the fierce lobbying on the part of the central bank itself, 15 Democrats bucked leadership and the measure passed. According to the Huffington Post, “Key to winning Democratic support was a letter posted early Thursday from labor leaders and progressive economists” which was “organized by the liberal blog Firedoglake…Grayson was able to show Democratic colleagues that the liberal base was behind them.” During the committee debate, Grayson quoted from the letter."
