Lyrics:
ENJOLRAS
Do you hear the people sing?
Singing a song of angry men?
It is the music of a people
Who will not be slaves again!
When the beating of your heart
Echoes the beating of the drums
There is a life about to start
When tomorrow comes!

4. Well, no Broadway stars are doing anything tomorrow thanks to OWS.
Maybe one or two of them will join the crusade?

5. Great idea. They could actually do this, given the location.
It would be so inspiring. Also, it would certainly bring the media.

3. That song is about socialism.
And I used to laugh when fascist broadcaster Ken Hamblin would use it as bumper music, not knowing what it was all about.

"For the wretched of the Earth, there is a flame that never dies.
Even the darkest night will end and the sun will rise."

7. I posted the following over 4 hours ago in the Broadway does OWS thread:
"Hope they perform "Do You Hear the People Sing" from Les Miserables.

I would pay to see that..."
